Benjamin Levy

About Ben Levy

The Washington Post described Benjamin Levy as “a stylish craftsman with a fierce heart.” Dance Magazine named him one of its “25 to Watch,” describing his choreography as “a judicious balance of athletic and lyrical, brainy and sexy.” An award-winning choreographer, dancer, and facilitator, Benjamin has spent more than two decades exploring what can be expressed through the body that can’t be understood with words.

Benjamin founded LEVYdance in San Francisco in 2002, creating and performing work throughout the United States and internationally, including at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Joyce SoHo. His work became known for bringing together physical intensity, emotional immediacy, and a deep curiosity about human connection.

About Dance Flow

Dance Flow is movement medicine. A space to allow the beat and our spirits to move our bodies as we connect in community. Gentle guidance for those who want it, freedom for those who are ready to dive in. No steps to learn. No right way to move. No dance experience needed. Openness to listen, feel, and move freely.
